Propeller Balancing

IMG_8136.JPG

What is it?

Dynamic propeller balancing is the process of hooking a computerized balancer to your engine. The computer will read the measurements of vibration on your entire engine and propeller assembly, notifying you of which station on the bulkhead has the imbalance. To correct the imbalance you attach weights to the propeller bulk head or spinner assembly.

Why do it?

Vibration is the major cause of premature part failure, it can cause cracks to airframe structures and metal. Vibration can cause additional issues with avionics and contribute to rough flying aircrafts.

We use state of the art equipment (Aces Balancer). You will receive a complete report of the vibration analysis. The price includes the vibration scan, weights, installation and paperwork.

Price: $300 for most single engine aircrafts
